The sun above the front door is an odd original feature from 1902.

Left the hall a mix of materials and painted it all glossy white, amazing to see the linen braid between the logs. Here we left the railing the original glossy black and hung 60s glass ceiling lights on the wall.

AFTER Saved one panel of this wallpaper from a room downstairs, now its a headboard.

We wanted to keep the old wallpaper in one of the rooms, so the design of this room was to keep an existing wall.

We used rough cut wood in a pattern, painted with a home made stain.
